Unleashing Creative
Potentials
for a Better Future
More than 72 million youth in Africa are not in education, employment or training – the majority of them young women
Africa’s youthful population is rapidly growing, and addressing youth inactivity and gender inequalities is crucial to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent work for all by 2030. At the Joyce Ababio Design Foundation, we focus on empowering women and young people, including those differently abled, to unlock their unlimited creative potential and turn it into impactful solutions for the continent’s transformation.
Our programs provide ethical creative education that begins by understanding the needs of the communities we aim to serve. This education leads to the development of tangible products or services, specifically designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities in Africa.
Together with a passionate community of partners, we work to equip youth and women with skill grants, startup kits, and funds to drive enterprise and innovation. By supporting youthful, creative leaders, we’re helping to build a future where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can realize their dreams and contribute to the transformation of Africa.
Together, we can unleash creative potentials including those differently-abled
